Caption: Rhinia sp, a Palm Weevil found in Trinindad (1982). A large weevil (6cm), from the family Curculionidae or Snout Weevils, whose head is extended anteriorly into a proboscis with the mouthparts at its tip.`This species is a serious pest of coconut palms.
