Caption: Five-spot burnet moth (Zygaena trifolii) on a stem. This moth has a wingspan of about 3.5 centimetres. It is native to Europe, where it is found in chalk downland, meadows and marshy ground. It can be seen in its adult form from May to July, and may take 2 years to pupate.
