Bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas). This shark is widespread throughout the warm oceans, rivers and lakes of the world. It is considered one of the most dangerous tropical sharks, attacking humans as well as a wide variety of prey, such as bony fish, sea turtles and other sharks. Bull sharks can grow to 3.5 metres in length and weigh up to 300 kilograms. Adults are mainly found in estuaries and coastal waters, but juveniles may be found hundreds of kilometres up stream in rivers.
