Caption: Fangtooth fish. View of a deep sea ocean fish known as a fangtooth, Anoplogaster cornuta. This fish is also called the ogre fish because of its fearsome appearance. The juveniles of this species are so different to the adults that they were given a totally different genus (Caulolepsis). If took fifty years for scientists to realise the mistake. The fangtooth is found in tropical waters down to about 4800 metres.
