Caption: Green bumphead parrotfish (Bolbometopon muricatum) school swimming through, and feeding on, a coral reef. These fish are found in the Indo-Pacific region, juveniles living in lagoons and adults on seaward coral reefs to depths of 30 metres. Some of the fish seen here are feeding on the live coral reef. Feeding parrotfish often ram the front of their heads against the coral in order to break pieces off. Photographed off Sipadan Island, Malaysia.
