Caption: Napoleon wrasse. Napoleon, or humphead, wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus) swimming in the sea. This is the largest of the wrasses, reaching a length of over three metres. It inhabits coral reefs throughout the tropical Indo-Pacific region. It is mainly carnivorous, feeding on molluscs and crustaceans. Elderly individuals develop a large fatty hump above their eyes. A shark is seen at upper left. Photographed off Rangiroa Atoll, part of French Polynesia in the Pacific Ocean.
