Caption: Longfin bannerfish (Heniochus acuminatus). This fish, also known as the pennant coralfish, inhabits deeper parts of seaward reef slopes and channels between reefs in the tropical Indo- Pacific region. It feeds mainly on plankton, although it is known to pick parasites from the skin of larger fish, especially when young. It can reach a length of 25 centimetres. Photographed at Fakarava Atoll, French Polynesia, in the Pacific Ocean.
