Caption: False moorish idol fish. Shoal of false moorish idol fish (Heniochus diphreutes) over a coral reef. These fish generally inhabit seaward reef slopes in areas of strong current. They feed mainly on plankton, but are known to act as cleaners, eating parasites from the skin of larger fish. They can reach a length of around 20 centimetres. Photographed at the North Pass of the Fakarava Atoll, French Polynesia, Pacific Ocean.
