Caption: Spanish hogfish (Bodianus rufus). This fish, a type of wrasse, inhabits the tropical waters of the western Atlantic Ocean, from the southern USA to Brazil. It feeds mainly on bottom-dwelling invertebrates such as crabs, starfish and molluscs. It can reach a length of around 40 centimetres. Photographed off Bonaire Island in the Netherlands Antilles, in the Caribbean Sea.
