Caption: Bluestriped grunts (Haemulon sciurus) shoaling in and around sea plumes (Pseudopterogorgia sp.), a type of colonial gorgonian related to corals. This fish inhabits reefs in the tropical western Atlantic Ocean, from Florida, USA, to Brazil. It feeds on crustaceans, molluscs and smaller fish, and can reach 46 centimetres in length. It is caught and eaten by local people. Photographed off Bimini in the Bahamas.
