Caption: Trumpetfish (Aulostomus maculatus) hunting for prey amongst rocky crevices. This fish feeds on smaller fish and crustaceans, and can reach around a metre in length. It sucks in prey by rapidly opening its mouth to the diameter of its body. It inhabits the tropical waters of the western Atlantic Ocean. Photographed off Bonaire Island in the Netherlands Antilles, in the Caribbean Sea.
