Caption: Oblique-banded sweetlips (Plectorhinchus lineatus) and a giant barrel sponge (Xestospongia testudinaria). This fish can reach up to 50 centimetres in length and is found throughout the eastern Indian Ocean and the western Pacific. It feeds on benthic invertebrates at night. Photographed off Sangalaki Island, in the Sulawesi Sea, Indonesia.
