Caption: Leptodactylus macrosternum, a nest-building frog found in South America & it was recently discovered in one location (Icacos peninsula) on the Caribbean island of Trinidad. The genus Leptodactylus are nest-building frogs, laying their eggs in foam masses in or near to water. On hatching, the tadpoles wriggle free of the foam & slip into the water.
