Caption: Rose's rain frog (Breviceps rosei). This species of rain frog is endemic to southwestern South Africa. It emerges during periods of heavy rain, but cannot swim and is not found in water. Instead it is found in subterranean nests within vegetated coastal areas and in fynbos heathland. Photographed at De Hoop Nature Reserve, South Africa.
