Caption: Parson's chameleon (Calumma parsonii) in a tree. These chameleons are native to Madagascan rainforests and are very sedate animals. Adults may go for very long periods of time without moving except to mate, eat, drink or defecate. Unlike most species of chameleon this species does not spend much time basking in the sun. Photographed in Madagascar.
