Caption: Long-nosed bat (Leptonycteris curasoae) feeding on cactus fruit. This bat feeds mainly on nectar and pollen, but will supplement its diet with the fruits of various cacti when available. It is found in southern North America, throughout Mexico to Arizona and New Mexico in the USA. It reaches a length of around 8.5 centimetres.
