Caption: Bumblebee bat (Craseonycteris thonglongyai) on its roost. Also known as Kitti's hog-nosed bat, this is the smallest bat in the world, weighing about the same as a bumblebee. It is thought to be the smallest mammal in the world. It feeds on insects, and has a combined head and body length of about 3 centimetres. It is extremely rare, found only in a set of limestone caves in Thailand.
