Caption: MODEL RELEASED. Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) swimming upside down with a swimmer. The bottlenose dolphin is distributed around the globe, with the exception of the polar oceans and inland seas. It lives in groups of between 10-15 individuals, but much larger groups have been recorded. This dolphin commonly frolics around ships and seems to enjoy human company in the water, showing no fear. Its main prey is fish, which it catches during agile underwater chases. Photographed in the Pacific Ocean off Moorea Island, French Polynesia.
