Caption: The Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) has long curved front claws (2-4'' in length), a prominent shoulder hump composed of muscle, and a concave or dish shaped face with a long snout. It's colour varies from blonde to brown to black. The common name ''grizzly'' comes from its silver-coloured guard hairs. It's range includes remote areas in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Alaska, Washington, and Southwest Canada. This individual was photographed at the Northwest Treck Wildlife Park in Eatonville, Washington.
