Caption: Ethiopian wolf (Canis simensis). This animal lives in packs composed of a few males who each have several females. It hunts rodents, hares and antelope calves. The Ethiopian wolf is one of the rarest canids and in particular it has been a victim of rabies, carried by domestic dogs. Photographed in Bale Mountains National Park in Ethiopia.
