Caption: Key deer (Odocoileus virginianus clavium) in grass. This subspecies of white-tailed deer lives only on Big Pine Key and some neighbouring keys in Florida, USA. It is the smallest of the white-tailed deer, measuring 60-70 centimetres tall at the shoulder. The main habitat of the Key deer is grassland and mangrove swamps.
