The pronghorn is the fastest land mammal in North America and has been known to reach speeds of up to 86.5 km/h. The pronghorn's eyes are set far out on the skull, allowing a 360-degree field of vision. The pronghorn lives alone or in small groups. It is a herbivore by nature and feed on grass, forb, sagebush and cactus. The pronghorn inhabits grassland and is distributed in Canada, USA and western Mexico. A fully grown pronghorn has a body weight of up to 70 kg and a body length of about 1.4 metres.
