Caption: Jabiru storks (Jabiru mycteria) nesting in a tree. This large bird inhabits the wetlands of Central and South America east of the Andes. It lives in large groups, and feeds on fish, molluscs, amphibians, reptiles, small mammals and carrion. It stands around 110 centimetres tall and has a wingspan of over 2.5 metres. Photographed in Brazil, in the Pantanal, the world's largest wetland region.
