Caption: Le Corbusier design. This counter-relief sculpture in concrete is a representation of Le Modulor, a scale of proportions that guided the housing designs of the Swiss-born French architect Le Corbusier (1887-1965). This sculpture is located on the walls of the Cite Radieuse, Marseilles, France. This is the original modular housing unit (Unite d'Habitation) that was designed by Le Corbusier using his Modulor concept. It was built from 1947 to 1953 in the modernist style.
