Caption: Rudolph Bergh (1824-1909), Danish zoologist and physician. During his medical career Bergh specialised in sexually transmitted diseases. At the age of 30 he took a keen interest in zoology. Bergh wrote reports on nudibranches (sea slugs) collected during the HMS Challenger expedition of 1872-1876.
