Museum composite of the skull of a Javan rhinoceros (Rhinoceros sondaicus), with the upper jaw shown from below (far right) and below (centre right), with the upper part of the skull (centre left) and the lower jaw (far left) shown in profile with the front of the skull at top. This specimen is from Sunderabund, Bengal. This region used to be part of the historic range of this rhinoceros, which as of 2011 is critically endangered with only two small populations surviving.
