Caption: Poisk docking module seen during flight preparations at Baikonur Cosmodrome. Poisk, also known as Mini Research Module 2, is a small multi-purpose module for the International Space Station. Launched on 10 November 2009, it docked on the zenith port of the Russian Zvezda module on ISS the following day. It provides a docking port for Soyuz and Progress spacecraft, can be used as an airlock for extra-vehicular activity (EVA) and can contain a small number of experiments. Photographed on 3 November 2009.
