Caption: Zeta Ophiuchi star. Infrared image showing the hot bright blue star Zeta Ophiuchi (centre), plowing its way through a large cloud of interstellar dust and gas. Zeta Ophiuchi lies about 458 light years away in the constellation Ophiuchus. It is about 20x more massive and 65,000x more luminous than the Sun and appears as a relatively dim red star when seen in visible light it. Imaged by NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE).
