Caption: Hubble ultra deep field. This view of approximately 10,000 galaxies shows some of the furthest ever seen. The light from some of these galaxies was emitted when the Universe was only 400 million years old. Data obtained by the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) and Near Infrared Camera and Multi-object Spectrometer (NICMOS) instruments on the Hubble Space Telescope.
