Caption: Angiography video of the major blood vessels of the abdomen. This image shows a contrast medium being injected into the blood and travelling down the aorta, where it moves into the kidneys through the renal arteries (left and right). Around the top of the pelvis the aorta divides into two iliac arteries, which supply each leg. Angiography is an imaging technique in which a radio-opaque contrast medium is injected into blood vessels to allow them to be seen on an X-ray.
