Caption: MODEL RELEASED. Pancreatic cancer surgery. Surgeon using an electrocautery (burning) instrument on a patient's abdomen during surgery to remove a pancreatic carcinoma, a malignant (cancerous) tumour of the pancreas. If pancreatic cancer is diagnosed early it can be treated with surgical removal, often followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. However, it often causes no symptoms until it is well established and untreatable. Clip 22 of 23. For the entire sequence see clips K002/9601 to K002/9579.
