Caption: Porcupine ray (Urogymnus asperrimus) hunting on the seabed. It hunts for buried fish and invertebrates by pumping water into the sand, excavating it and revealing any prey. This ray is named for its covering of sharp spines, although unlike other stingrays it lacks a venomous tail spine. It lives on on sandy seabeds and coral rubble. Filmed in Tubbataha, The Philippines.
