Caption: Arthur Stanley Mackenzie (1865-1938), Canadian physicist. Mackenzie studied at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He taught mathematics and physics at Dalhousie and physics at Johns Hopkins University, Maryland, USA. In 1911 he became President of Dalhousie, a post he held until 1931.
