This 25-year-old man, a farm labourer named John Tomlinson, originally from Yorkshire, had the tumour surgically removed at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London. This page is from volume 50 (1757-8) of the journal 'Philosophical Transactions', published by the Royal Society of London.
