The officer is Lieutenant General Ayad a Fuaad, Chief of Staff for Rusafa Area Command. The laboratory is part of the Joint Explosive Exploitation Cell, Camp Victory, Baghdad, Iraq. Fuaad and other officials toured the facility to see how forensic science is used to help investigate improvised explosive devices (IEDs). These US military facilities were provided as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Photographed on 20 July 2010.
