Caption: Zambezi floodplain, satellite image. The Zambezi River is the upper river at right. The Chobe River is beneath it. This important wetland floods annually during the rainy season. Shallow flooded areas are green, deeper channels are blue and dry land is brown. Image obtained by the Advanced Land Imager (ALI) onboard NASA's Earth-Observing-1 satellite (EO-1) in May 2010.
