Caption: Epididymal cyst removal surgery. Surgeon operating on the scrotum of a 58-year-old man with a benign (non-cancerous) cyst on the epididymis of his right testicle. The epididymis is a narrow tightly-coiled tube of the male reproductive system that carries sperm from the testes (testicles). It connects the efferent ducts from the rear of each testicle to its vas deferens. Here, the surgeon is making an incision in the scrotum in order to reveal the testicle.
