Caption: Boeing 747-8 interior showing flight research equipment. The black metal water tanks are used to shift the centre of gravity of the aircraft to simulate different loadings. Air conditioning ducts and other pipework can be seen in the ceiling space above the cabin. Luggage bins are made from carbon fibre reinforced plastic to reduce weight. Photographed at the 2011 Paris Air Show.
