Caption: Met Office ocean weather ship (OWS). This is the OWS Cumulus, an ocean weather ship operated by the Met Office, the UK's national weather monitoring and forecasting service. It was originally built in 1963 and served as a Dutch weather ship until it was sold to the Met Office in 1985. It was one of several weather ships monitoring weather in the North Atlantic. It was sold again in 1997 and converted to the yacht Salem.
