Caption: Next generation space exploration. Computer artwork showing an astronaut in a Manned Manoeuvring Vehicle (MMV, right) leaving its docking station, left) attached to a next generation Deep Space Vehicle's (DSV) crew capsule and Extended Stay Module (ESM, far left). The DSV crew capsule, or Command Module, will be similar to the Apollo Command Module in shape, however it will be larger, with enough room for as many as six astronauts and be capable of missions in excess of Apollo's 14 day limit. For longer missions it could be mated with an ESM to provide additional life support and accommodation for a crew of three or four, for deep space missions lasting 90 days or longer. The MMV docking station could carry two MMVs that would allow astronauts to explore
