Caption: Prehistoric human skeleton (Omo 1). Fossil bones and skull reconstruction of the partial remains of the skeleton of a modern human (Homo sapiens) discovered in 1967 by a team led by Richard Leakey. It was found in Kibish, Ethiopia, near Shiangoro village, east of the River Omo. It dates from around 130,000 years ago.
