Caption: Iguanodon hand fossil. Cast of fossilised bones of a hand from the herbivorous dinosaur Iguanodon. This dinosaur lived around 140 to 110 million years ago, during the Early Cretaceous. The sharp spike-like thumb is thought to have been used for defence against predators.
