Caption: Livingskin hand prostheses. The livingskin range of lifelike human skin hand covering were acquired in 2008 for the i-LIMB range of bionic hands. The i-LIMB range was developed by the Scottish company Touch Bionics and launched in 2007. The livingskin prostheses are made from silicone and custom-made for each patient. Three layers are applied to mimic the dermal layers in human skin.
