Caption: A neotropical species of saddleback moth caterpillar, genus Siline. Saddleback caterpillar moths belong to the family Limacodidae, known as shag or slug moths. The caterpillars lack prolegs and crawl about in a manner similar to slugs. The tubercles are covered with stinging spines. Photographed in the Peruvian Amazon, Loreto, Peru.
