Caption: The Spikefin Goby, Discordipinna griessingeri, is an inhabitant of the Indo-Pacific and Red Sea. It is secretive and lives in areas of coral rubble but does not live with prawns, as so many gobies do. The commercial fish trade name for the species is the 'Flaming Prawn Goby' which is a bit of a misnomer. Photographed in 2010.
