Caption: The firefish, Nemateleotris magnifica, is found in the tropical Pacific, the Red Sea, and off the coast of East Africa. It lives in burrows on the outer reef slope, sometimes sharing burrows with several other individuals. It can be found down to 70 meters depth. Photographed in 2010.
