Caption: Crew of the Voskhod 1 spacecraft. Soviet cosmonauts Konstantin Feoktistov (1926-2009), Boris Yegorov (1937-1994) and Vladimir Komarov (1927-1967), and a welcoming party celebrating the success of Voskhod 1 mission. Voskhod 1 launched on 12th October 1964 from Baikonur, Kazakhstan, in what was the first spaceflight to carry three people. The crew orbited Earth 16 times, and landed on 13th October 1964. All three cosmonauts were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Photographed at Vnukovo airport, Moscow, russia, on 19th October 1964.
