Caption: Large white butterfly (Pieris brassicae). The butterfly is named for the colour of the top side of its wings - the lower side is pale green for camouflage. The caterpillar of this species is responsible for serious crop damage to plants in the cabbage family (brassicas), hence it is also known as the cabbage white. Filmed in Denmark.
