Caption: Brass analysis. Image 4 of 7. The solution and precipitate formed by the first stages of a brass analysis is prepared for titration. Sodium thiosulphate solution is used to find the amount of liberated iodine. From this the original mass of copper in the brass can be calculated. All the stages in this experiment are shown in images A500/566 through to A500/572.
