Caption: Fly (Tachina fera) feeding on ragwort (Senecio jacobaea) flowers. This fly is found across Europe as far north as Scandinavia. Its larvae are parasites of the caterpillars of moths in the Noctuidae family. Photographed in the UK, in July.
